Being the first Formula One race in the Middle East, Bahrain has stayed on the F1 calendar since it’s inaugural race in 2004 starting in the blistering desert heat before switching to becoming one of the most anticipated night races on the grid.

A track full with history but also haunted by it. There is no way Imola can be mentioned with F1 without the tragic passing of one it’s greatest heroes. In the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, Aryton Senna tragically lost his life after his active suspension failing causing a giant crash that put him in a coma and then later saw him pass.

One of the new races on the calendar, the track brings the second US Grand Prix on the calendar with a third in Las Vegas already in talks before any tyre has touched the asphalt. Being a temporary circuit designed around the Hard Rock Stadium, home to NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the track is a 19-turn lap described as similar to Albert Park.

One of the longest standing season opening tracks in F1 history, Albert Park joined the parade in 1996 after a deal was struck for the track in 1993, using a mixture of roads around Melbourne’s park such as Aughtie Drive and Lakeside Drive. The track took over from the former Australian grand prix in Adelaide, with the last race held at that particular track in 1995.

A track with only one race, yet its legacy may have already been made. The 2021 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix may have been the most intense race for years with the duel between Hamilton and Verstappen going over boiling point, seeing drama spew over track as the two fought from lights out to flag.
