Wheel of Gods’

‘Wheel of Gods’ focusses on a driver being handed his wheel embezzled with the Ferrari logo. Being the 75th anniversary of Ferrari in motorsport, the photo looks to celebrate the team’s regalty since their genesis. Motorsport has many wheels, but none so fought for such as Ferrari’s.

The name also draws upon the two hands reaching towards each other, with it’s biblical reference linking it to Michelangelo’s ‘The Creation of Adam’. While, Michelangelo shows God giving life to Adam, here, the mechanic hands the driver an instrument that gives life to the machine.

The car pictured is a Ferrari 1512, a flat V12 fabrication, which saw the likes of John Surtees, Graham Hill, Jim Clark and Dan Gurney drive. Joe Colasacco is pictured behind the wheel preparing for the Glover Trophy.
